What we do
We track, verify, and recover lost cats and dogs using a network of lawful microchip data,
eyewitness information, and authorised welfare partners. Our service links local councils,
veterinary practices, shelters, and rescue teams through one transparent recovery system.

We update all agencies, both official and unofficial, ensuring your animal cannot be
unlawfully traded, rehomed, or overlooked.
How the Pet Detectives System Works
Register your pet once. Lifetime cover. £4.70 per chip.
When a loss is reported, the Pet Detectives system activates timed alert zones centred
on your home postcode or the confirmed loss location.
Registered members of the network, you, operate within one of these timed alert zones:
Initial alert zones
• 1 mile – immediate local network notification (immediate)
• 3 miles – extended ground-watch network (after 2 hours)
• 10 miles – wider regional alert (after 6 hours)
Members within each zone receive the alert and can report sightings directly into the system.
If the Pet Detectives Ground Network does not secure recovery within the early stages,
the system automatically notifies verified veterinary, welfare,
and partner agencies within a 30-mile radius.
Our network acts on your behalf to ensure lawful identification and recovery,
preventing duplicate claims or unlawful rehoming.
Owners receive direct updates when verified sightings, matches, or recovery actions occur.
